- Start with standing poses like Uttitha Tikon Asana and Parivrtta Trikonasana and Uttitha Parsvakonasana - These poses not only build strength but also improve and tone the abdomen organs apart from working on the legs. In the initial weeks practice only few poses and gradually increase the standing poses. You can search this blog for other standing poses.
- Jathar Parivartanasana - This pose massages the entire abdomen region and great for improving the digestive system.
- Urdhava Prasarita Padasana - This pose works on the stomach and the intestines and tones them.
- Navasana(Boat Pose) and Ardh Navasana - This will massage the intestines.
- Uddiyana Bandh should be practiced three times.
- Nadi Shodhan Pranayama- Practice this after finishing the above poses and practice for 10 to 15 minutes. This will calm you down and reduce any stress in the body.
- Lay in Savasana for 5 minutes.
