An Interesting Yoga Story

Usually this blog contains contents which are more serious in tone though that is not my intention. So here is an interesting story I found in Facebook from Sole Segura Celada. This lady is an Yoga instructor and it seems she is a great story teller also. I found this story in the Yoga Journal Facebook page. Here is her story...

I taught a YOGA class at one of the weddings I planned (2.5 weeks ago, 11/06/2010 in Formentera island, Spain)

It was 09:00AM and the ceremony was due to take place on the beach at 18:00 on that same day. It was overcast and I told my 35 pupils about the PURPOSE of our class that day. We were going to work with the energy of the island to bring ... See Morethe sun out on that day, for Taja & Tim who were getting married.
We thanked the clouds for their visit while, SMILING, we used our outbreath to blow them away. We then transformed ourselves into ONE human ARROW by practising an unbelievably *and naturally * synchronised WARRIOR sequence. This was to merely warn the clouds in case they felt like returning later.
We did other things, but the main focus was on the SUN salutations, again using our breathing in sync. I told everyone to concentrate on WELCOMING the sun in their minds. We finished by deciding by overwhelming majority that the sun would come out at 15:00 hrs on that same day. We thanked him in advance and we walked back home under the rain.
It was 14:15 when it began to shine.
I got more than 35 text messages on my mobile saying "WE DID IT!!!" and we not only had a fabulous wedding, but the BEST ever beach party that lasted all night long!
We all watched how the sun rised -again- at @ 08:00AM magically from -underneath- the sea in front of us on the following morning, while we were still dancing to TAINTED LOVE...

That's the magic of YOGA in FORMENTERA island.
