Easy Urinary Tract Infection Home Remedies

Urinary tract infections are quite common problem and affects all including children and adults. This can be very uncomfortable condition and cause irritation and pain while passing urine. However if we take care of few basics this infections can be avoided. Here are few simple urinary tract infection home remedies.

1. Drink a lot of Water
Drinking a lot of water is essential to maintain healthy body. If you can make it a practice to drink a lot of water everyday, you can avoid many health problems. Best time to have water is at the beginning of the day which is in the morning. Take around 1 to 1.5 ltrs of water.

This will cause you to pass lot of urine and any small infections are washed out. If you drink this much of water everyday in the morning most of your fluid needs of the days are met and chances of urine infections become almost negligible. In case you are already suffering from infection, then also this is the way to go. You can add coconut water to your diet also.

2. Hygiene
It is essential that the genital area hygiene is maintained. Most of the infections start from there. The genital area should be washed properly. Whenever you use public toilets you should be more careful. The public toilets can cause infections very easily. In babies use of diapers also leads to urinary tract infections as there is lack of air circulation which can lead to rapid build up of germs. Try to reduce use of diapers as much as possible and if using diapers then change them frequently.

Another thing to keep in mind is you should not hold off the urge to urinate. Frequent urination prevents the build up of germs responsible for the infection.

3. Yoga Asana
There are few yoga poses which can help you to deal with infections of urinary tract. On of the best yoga poses is Baddha Konasana. Practice of this pose increase more blood flow to the genital and the kidney region and cures diseases of this region. Other forward bending poses are also useful for this infection.

4. Include More Acidic Food
One of the other recommendation is having more acidic food or juices like oranges. Acidic food make the urine more acidic which will kill the germs.

The above tips are simple but effective way to keep the urine infections at bay. Even for those who are more prone to urine infection, the above methods can be really effective if followed properly.
