Mantra Healing : How I Did That

In the last post I wrote about my mantra healing experience. In this post I will explain how exactly I did it and how you can also do it.

Select a calm place. Make sure it is neat and does not have any disturbance. Just think quietly for some time and fix the intention of the mantra healing. Intention is very important part of this mantra healing process and keep that in mind in each round as much as possible. If you feel distracted again bring back the focus to the intention.

Select an appropriate mantra. There are various mantra like Maha Mrutunjay Mantra which are believed to even save from life threatening situations and diseases. However it is better to select a mantra for which meaning is know or easy to recite. I find the AUM (OM) to be the easiest to practice.

Mantra can also be recited quietly but in my opinion it is better to recite loudly as you can feel the vibration and energy. Once you have soaked yourself with the mantra with long practice it can be done quietly also.

Ensure that you sit straight in Padmasana preferably. In case you find that difficult you can sit either on a wooden chair or sit on a pillow. Here is an article which talks about benefits of Padmasana.

Since I practiced the AUM mantra I will explain how to do that.

With eyes closed, slowly and ensure that lung are fully expanded. Start exhalation and start reciting OOOOOOOO till the one third exhalation, then next one third part of the exhalation recite UUUUUUU and the last part recite MMMMMMMM with mouth closed. The MMMM sound needs to be generated from the throat with the more consciously. You will notice that you can carry on the MMMMM for quite a long time. While reciting feel the vibration in the body and the stomach region.

When you inhale imagine that the pain or the disease is being released from the body and while exhaling with recitation of the mantra imagine that all the powers of the universe are being drawn and pulled into into your head and from there it is passing to the diseases part and healing is happening.

Again inhale fully and repeat the process. You can count with your finger and go till the number you want to repeat this process. I did it for around 100 times. For serious problems you require more repetitions and many sittings. With practice combined with belief you will be able to heal your self.
